We've spent so much time & prayer on this subject, but it's still hard to write! The time, energy, finances, and every other resource we've poured into this place have taken a heavy toll. Many factors have contributed to this decision, and we are quite certain that God is leading us into a place that will help us to rearrange our priorities in life a little better. It has become so easy over the years to hide our problems in the barn or at work, but in doing such a thing, problems don't resolve themselves. We've made a habit out of using the horses and our "ministry" as an excuse to stay too busy for each other and the God that inspired the dream in the first place! It will be a beautiful day when we learn to value ourselves based on the view our creator has of us, rather than on what we do for the world around us..... God is good, all of the time, and I'm thankful to know that He loves me enough to bring me through the valleys of life so that i can make it to mountain view at the top!
His Barn's last day of regular lessons will be Saturday, June 7, 2008. We'll then host our summer camps till July. We will continue to take out trail rides through august.
That's really all we know right now...... things could change, new ideas could arise, opportunities could present themselves... but today, this is where we are!
Thank you to all of our customers and friends! You are so much more than a number that kept the business running. You are extended family and we feel honored to have been part of your lives for so long!

Hi Mrs. Jill! It's Katie Rivers, the girl that rides on Tuesdays and is now fully intent on purchasing Muttly. Why are you closing? I don't want you to close! :'( Where are you going? Are you moving?
Dear Ones,
I do not even know if you will read this. It is with sentimental sadness that I read your blog today. I applaud you for addressing issues in your lives. I just want to thank you and Mr. Brian for the sweet memories and all the ways you both invested in the life of our family. God used you both greatly along with all of your furry menagerie. Know our prayers are with you all as you navigate these next steps. Hugs all around (in the barn too).
We love you.
